Mo and Mitch each won a great Rod & Reel Combo kindly donated by Inverloch Fishing and Outdoors and each child went home with a full stomach and lovely show bag from Victorian Fisheries Authority. We are so sorry if you missed out today due to number limits but we will have another one soon so please keep an eye out and register your child early. Thanks everyone!

We had one nice day for the October fishing comp and there were quite a few boats out on the water. But Matthew Bell, who is a land based fisherman was the only member to weigh in fish. Matthew won the $50 Cavity voucher with a flathead of 580g. Not many at the BBQ last night, which meant almost everyone took home a raffle prize. Thanks to our sponsors for the vouchers for the raffles - Cruza , Agapi Fish & Chips, 4 Shore Pizza. Graham & Sandra McKelevy's number ws drawn out for the members draw but they weren't present so it jackpots to $140 for the next competition.

Kid's Fishing Day

Our Kid's Fishing Day was a lovely success with 12 children and their parents/nannas braving the elements. Zach caught the only fish but there were a few nibbles and a large crab almost landed. The kids stuck it out even in the rain. Thanks to Inverloch Fishing and Outdoors we had 2 fishing rods to give away, Kyle won the blue rod and Chloe won the pink rod, both children were very excited. Thanks also to Victorian Fisheries Authority for supplying all the goodies for the showbags, the kids had a ball going through them. We topped it off with a sausage sizzle, drinks & icy poles and everyone left happy.
